Guest of the Sept à Huit program, Carole Bouquet recalls her clear position against cosmetic surgery. The opportunity for her to be alarmed by the recent transformation of Madonna.

Accept the passage of time or give in to the call of surgery?

Carole Bouquet is one of those personalities who take full responsibility.

Interviewed as part of the portrait of the week for the show

Sept à Huit,

she admits: “I don't really want to look at the face I have in the image today.

I still like acting but as long as I do, I just don't like to see the result."

At 64, the French actress explains that she is not "delighted to have the face which is starting to mark itself but what to do", questions the actress who positions herself against cosmetic surgery.

This opposition is not, however, categorical.

“When I see someone who has done it and where it can't be seen, maybe there.

But it always stands out."

Carole Bouquet then refers to the singer Madonna who, over the years, seems dangerously younger.

If the doubt hovered for a while as to his recourse to surgery, the suspicions deviate when the 63-year-old star is photographed, unrecognizable, at the exit of a restaurant in mid-March.

“Excuse me, but I saw images of Madonna, it panics me, it scares me.

How does she look in the mirror in the morning?

It's not her.

It's really someone else!” Carole Bouquet is alarmed.

"Don't look at yourself too much"

And she's not the only one to think so: the star's fans and subscribers agree.

"She doesn't even look like herself anymore.

It's so sad", "What did she do to her face?", "It's not Madonna", "I can't believe it's her", can we read in the comments of his Instagram posts.

"Me, I can't, I couldn't!" Declares, categorical, the actress.

That said, she jokes by explaining that she found a very simple technique not to succumb to it: do not look at yourself too much.

Failing to position herself as a defender against all odds of the “body positive” movement, Carole Bouquet explains herself with honesty and self-mockery.

“I'm very nearsighted, so the advantage is that I have to look at myself very closely or much further away with glasses.

It's not bad, because between the two I don't see myself,” she quips.

Not that she doesn't assume her age, on the contrary, she decides not to make a fix of it: “I don't watch the monitors, it will be what it will be”.
