The Russian Aleksandr Vlasov won the 75th edition of the Tour of Romandie, hitting his first major success in his career.
Vlasov has rewritten the classification in the final time trial, going to take the stage and leader's jersey: he closes the test ahead of Simon Geschke and Gino Mäder.
The Australian Rohan Dennis, who was in command of the race from the first stage, collapses and ends up outside the top 10. Damiano Caruso, fourth in the stage, managed to climb up to finish in sixth place.
The 26-year-old Russian won by 50 seconds over Mäder and 55 over Geschke.
