Kate Middleton, Prince William and their three children, George, 8, Charlotte, 7, and Louis of Cambridge, 4, will soon move into a new home, Adelaide Cottage, southeast of Windsor Castle, in order to closer to Queen Elizabeth II.

Of all the royal residences available, the latter, recently refurbished, was their top choice, as reported by

The property, which the Queen had made available since 1941 free of charge to her friends and guests, notably housed Princess Margaret's lover (her sister), Captain Peter Townsend, from 1944 to 1952. It was built in 1831 by King William IV, who gave it to his wife, Adelaide of Saxe-Meiningen, who gave it her name.

The goal: to keep Prince Andrew away from his majesty

If the Cambridges want to get closer to Queen Elizabeth II, it would be to get her away from her second son, Prince Andrew, caught up in the Epstein scandal.

According to
