This potato salad tastes especially good on a hot day.
And it's super easy to prepare thanks to the 7-cup recipe.
Summer time is barbecue time.
But in addition to meat, sausages or grilled vegetables, you also need a few tasty side dishes that make the dinner perfect.
In addition to the classic baguette and pasta salad, one dish should not be missing from the table:

But a slightly lighter version that isn't too heavy on the stomach is welcome on hot days.
In addition to potatoes, the following recipe offers many fresh ingredients such as cucumber, apple and yoghurt.

This means, as you can imagine, the ingredients are simply weighed out into cups - so you need seven ingredients (not counting spices and herbs).

Preparation time: approx. 25 minutes

Serving size: 2 large or 4 small portions
1 cup boiled potatoes, diced
1 cup boiled eggs, diced
1 cup cucumber, peeled and diced
1 cup lean ham, diced
1 cup onion, diced
1 cup apple, peeled, cored and diced
1 cup Greek yogurt
2 cloves of garlic
salt and pepper

If you are vegetarian or don't like ham, you can simply replace this with a cup of diced cheese, e.g.

7-Cup Salad: How to Make Potato Salad
Place all ingredients except yogurt and spices in a bowl.
Squeeze the garlic into the Greek yogurt and season with salt and pepper.
Pour the dressing over the salad and mix well.
Let the 7-cup salad set in the fridge for a few hours.
Then sprinkle the potato salad with chopped fresh herbs and serve.
