There are rumors about GTA 6 like sand by the sea.

An alleged leak now promises the release in summer 2023. But fans should not be too excited.

New York – Fans are eagerly awaiting GTA 6 from Rockstar Games.

Since the developer is silent about the game, the fans pounce on every little, supposed, news.

So there are always leaks and rumors that share the wildest theories about the next GTA title.

But fans should beware of false information.

The creator just had fun fooling the entire community.

Now there is a new leak for GTA 6 that raises questions.

It states that developer Rockstar Games has apparently not been successful in stopping its authors from sharing information about GTA 6.

Allegedly, an employee of the New York developer would have chatted out of the box and shared spicy details about the release of GTA 6.

The developer from New York has been in the works since 2014.

The release was originally planned for 2021, but had to be postponed because development started again in 2020.

The release of GTA 6 is said to be planned for summer 2023, with the New York developer keeping a postponement to 2024 open.

So, according to this information, fans can already get their hands on the long-awaited game in a year.

Hence the leak:

The alleged leak comes from the PRFL website.

There you can read numerous articles on the gaming industry, PC and console games.

However, it is unclear who exactly runs the site.

There is no proper imprint, instead you will only find a data protection regulation and a contact form.

That's why fans should be careful:

We thought the PRFL leak was questionable, so we asked the site operators where they got this information about GTA 6 from.

When asked, the site operators informed us that they had the rumor from the PlayGround.ru website.

There is exactly the same as with PRFL.

However, no other source is given here either.

The information can therefore not be checked, as no tweet or similar from an insider is linked anywhere.

At least it cannot be verified in any way and so far none of the well-known insiders, such as Tez2 or Tom Henderson, have commented on it.

So fans should be careful with such leaks and rumors and not get excited too soon.

Most insiders currently assume that GTA 6 will be released by Rockstar Games in 2024 at the earliest.
