(ANSA) - BERLIN, 03 MAY - The German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has gathered his cabinet for a day of seclusion in the government castle in Meseberg, where he also receives the premieres of Sweden Magdalena Andersson and of Finland Sanna Marin.
"Today we have the Swedish Prime Minister and the Finnish Prime Minister as guests.
The two countries are both close allies of our and the European Union. Therefore it is very very important that we discuss security issues together, which are important for Europe, for these countries and also for us ", said the chancellor in an initial statement.
Scholz also explained that the council of ministers will deal with the "economic challenges posed by the war in Ukraine, by the great transformation linked to the climate" by confronting economists and experts.
