(ANSA) - BOGOTA, MAY 05 - The biggest drug trafficker in Colombia, 'Otoniel', was extradited to the United States yesterday: Colombian president IvanDuque announced it.
"I want to inform that Dairo Antonio Usuga, aka 'Otoniel', has been extradited," the Colombian president announced on Twitter last night.
The 50-year-old chief of the Gulf Clan crime-trafficking organization was arrested on 23 October in the north-west of the country during a large military operation.
