(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, MAY 04 - The European Union "this year" has "plans to significantly increase" military support to Moldova "by providing additional equipment to its armed forces".
This was announced by the president of the European Council, Charles Michel, in a joint press conference in Chisinau with the Moldovan president Maia Sandu.
"It is our European duty to help and support the country and to increase our support for its stability, security and territorial integrity", underlined Michel.
