She will have been talking about her until the middle of spring.
The flu epidemic, unusually late this year in France, has finally been on the decline for several weeks, confirmed this Wednesday by Public Health France.
The outbreak has continued to subside in recent days and is winding down in several regions, according to the public health agency.
The past week has been marked by the “continued decrease in influenza indicators at national and regional level”, summarizes Public Health France in its weekly report.
Seven regions - Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes;
Brittany;
the Centre-Loire Valley;
the Great East;
Hauts-de-France;
Normandy and the Pays de la Loire - thus move into the "post-epidemic" phase, which marks the end of the epidemic itself.
Overseas, French Guiana is joining this same phase.

Barrier gestures and vaccination still recommended
Some regions, such as Île-de-France, however, remain affected by the epidemic.
Not to mention that the flu continues to threaten two overseas territories, Mayotte and Reunion, which are in the so-called pre-epidemic phase.
However, the indicators are down in these territories, particularly in Reunion.
The flu hasn't really gone away… and neither has Covid-19.
As it is still circulating alongside the coronavirus, the flu syndrome must be combated with simple measures that have proven their worth during the pandemic: hand washing, physical distancing in the event of symptoms... Public Health France reaffirms the importance of barrier gestures but also vaccination, especially for those most at risk, the elderly in mind.
