A fault in the brakes of
Radius brand
has been observed on a number of bicycles and bicycles with or without electric assistance.
The government began to publish on Wednesday a list of two-wheelers affected by this defect which can cause accidents and cause injuries.
They have been withdrawn from sale.
The list was completed on Thursday on rappel.conso.gouv.fr.
People who own bikes on this list, with Radius brand brakes, are advised to stop using them.
They must contact their point of sale and bring them back if they correspond to the defective products, so that they can be repaired.
TVT brand bikes.
The YBTTWB4501 - VAE E-CORTEX ms 413 models are concerned, which have been marketed since February 1, 2021. They have been sold throughout France by these distributors: Cora, Système U, Center Auto, Brico/Intermarché, Carrefour, SPL, Leclerc.
EXS brand bikes.
The models Y9XSW14403 and Y9XSW15003-VAE CITd28′' TROCADERO 8V 558 are concerned;
Y9XSWJ4002 and Y9XSWJ4502-VAE VTCd28′' BELLEVILLE 9V 606;

YAXSW24004-VAE CITd 28′' CHANTENAY 7V.
They have been sold since May 1, 2021 in factory outlets and cycle stores throughout France.
