(ANSA) - BEIJING, MAY 05 - South Korea takes a step closer to the activities promoted and coordinated by NATO: South Korean intelligence has joined a group of cyber defense, as the first Asian country among the 32 that are part of it, throwing the basis for a reaction from neighboring countries, China and North Korea.
The National Intelligence Service (NIS) has announced formal admission to the Atlantic Pact Cooperative Cyber Defense Center of Excellence (Ccdcoe), which is based in Tallinn, Estonia, where it will represent South Korea in training and research activities.
The main hacker attacks against Seoul come from Pyongyang.
