At the annual alpaca competition for the most beautiful pompom, one clearly has the edge – or should I say the bottom?

Saarbrücken – Mirror, mirror on the wall, who has the fluffiest bottom in all of Saarland?

Every year on the alpaca farm "Saar Alpakas" among the new foals the fluffiest behind is chosen.

This year, one can clearly prevail against his seven competitors.

Alpacas originally come from the Andes and, as mountain dwellers, have particularly thick and fluffy fur that protects them from the cold in these high regions.

Keeping alpacas is also becoming increasingly popular in this country.

The even-toed ungulates have been successfully bred on the alpaca farm “Saar Alpakas” since 2009.

Every year, just before the first shearing, the most beautiful Puschel bottom among the new foals is chosen.

On another farm, llamas and alpacas are supposed to set up single people for speed dating.

Alpaca competition: Charlie Silberprinz prevails over the competition

Eight candidates from the alpaca foals were up for election for the most beautiful Puschel buttocks.

Saar Alpaka followers could vote on Facebook and Instagram.

Even if all contestants cut a good figure in the photos, in the end one can assert himself against the seven competitors and win the hearts of the voters:

Charlie Silberprinz wins the title Mister Puschel-Popo 2022, replacing last year's winner Papageno.

A sad fate befalls alpaca stallion Cosmo, who suddenly disappears from his paddock without a trace.

Unfortunately, the joy about the award-winning butt will only be short-lived, because the annual shearing is coming up.

Since alpacas do not sweat and therefore cannot cool their bodies, the heat would otherwise accumulate under their thick wool in our summer temperatures.

Therefore, the Puschel butt must now give way to a chic summer hairstyle.

Charlie Silberprinz is still allowed to keep the title until next year.
