Blows, rape: Amber Heard recounts three days of hell in Australia with Johnny Depp

The Aquaman actress was called to testify on Wednesday May 4 in the defamation lawsuit against her ex-husband.


Wednesday, May 4, it is the turn of Amber Heard to have delivered his version of the facts in the court of Fairfax in Virginia.

The actress, in tears, recounted the abuse suffered by Johnny Depp, with whom she was married for fifteen months.

The 34-year-old woman notably returned to an episode of rare violence that occurred in Australia, after their marriage in 2015, during which the actor allegedly raped her with a bottle of alcohol.

According to her, Amber Heard had joined her ex-husband in Oceania while he was filming the 5th installment of the

Pirates of the Caribbean saga

, but an argument reportedly broke out between the two of them.

"As we turn on the light, he started screaming," she told the court.

Johnny Depp then allegedly threw cans at her, violently grabbing her neck and threatening to disfigure her with a broken bottle.

An excess of rage that would have turned into sexual violence.

"I'm against the wall and he's screaming at me that he hates me, that I ruined his life," she said.

And to add: "He told me 'Fuck, I'm going to kill you'".

There, Amber Heard explains that the latter would have pushed a bottle into her vagina.

“All I felt was this pain,” she continued, claiming to have remained still as she was unsure “if the bottle he entered her with was broken.”

It was during this scene that the actor claimed to have cut his finger, while his ex-wife threw a bottle at him.

Words that Amber Heard denied during his time at the helm.

"I loved this man so strong but it was so toxic, I couldn't stop him from hitting me", she continued, questioned by her lawyer on the reason why she had not left her husband.

The couple had decided to start couples therapy, but the arguments enamelled with brutality had continued until she filed a complaint for domestic violence in May 2016, before dropping these charges during the divorce proceedings in early 2017 .

The actress returned to Johnny Depp's addiction to cannabis and alcohol.

The latter would also have kicked him on a private plane between Boston and Los Angeles.

In question, her supposed relationship with actor James Franco, with whom she had shot a film in May 2014. “He hated, hated James Franco and already accused me of having had something with him (…).

He hit me in the back, nobody said anything, nobody did anything,” she said, referring to the bodyguards and attendants on board the aircraft.

"A Million Promises"

According to Amber Heard, their idyll born in 2009 had quickly given way to a toxic relationship, between crisis of jealousy and consumption of various drugs and alcohol.

Despite "a million promises to heal and be sober", Johnny Depp regularly relapsed into his addictions, she explained.

The 58-year-old actor listened carefully to his ex-wife, sometimes reacting with slight nods of denial or whispering with his lawyer.

As AFP reports, he once again avoided the gaze of Amber Heard, as since the start of the trial.

The latter will return to the bar on May 16, to resume her testimony.

In this confrontation, Johnny Depp claims 50 million dollars in damages from his ex-wife, for having ruined his reputation by making defamatory remarks.

She counterattacked by demanding 100 million dollars.
