Destroyed hotel in Havana: rescue workers are on duty

A luxury hotel in the Cuban capital of Havana has apparently been severely damaged by an explosion.
Reuters news agency reports smoke and flames billowed from the Hotel Saratoga near the Capitol.
A large cloud of smoke and the partially collapsed facade of the building could be seen in the pictures.
Videos show a crowd of people around the scene of the accident.
CNN reports that rescue workers are on the scene to search for survivors.
Buses and cars in front of the building were also destroyed.
The cause of the explosion is unclear.
It is not known at this time whether there are any dead or injured.
