As a teenager, Georgia May Jagger wanted to be a veterinarian, before turning to photography, which she studied at university.

“You never know how life turns out.

Photography will perhaps be the next episode of my existence.

I never thought that I would like to become a famous model, nor that I was going to pursue this path all my life.

Mother and daughter share the same audacity, but also great lucidity.

“In my time, there were fewer models, fewer perfect physiques, but more strong personalities.

And above all, the career lasted longer,” explains Jerry.

“My mother is right, confirms her daughter, social networks have upset the relationship between models, designers and the public.

The profession changes.

You have to know how to prepare for it.”

– What do you like about the new jewelry

line

that Pandora has come up with for Mother's Day?

Jerry Hall.

– Its poetry, its freshness, its simplicity.

The Pandora bangle bracelet and its "infinity" knot, solid, efficient and above all reliable, like sailor's knots, is for me the perfect symbol of what maternal love is, immense, blind, indestructible.

Georgia May Jagger.

– This collection is so varied, playful, timeless, that it is easy to find a piece of jewelery that matches your style of dress, but also your lifestyle or your state of mind.

My mother loves rose gold, so I give her rose gold jewelry.

For my part, I like the patterns or shapes of shells that remind me of my childhood, when I went with my mother and my sister on the beach to collect them to make small boxes that we offered to each other.

Most of the jewelry given by my mother bears the imprint of shells.

Like her, I like the Infinity Knot bracelet for its sobriety and the symbol it represents: this permanent link that I have with my mother, since we wear the same one.

On Mother's Day did you have any habits?

JH

– I'm perpetuating the family tradition of having a big lunch together.

GMJ

– My mother, Texan by origin, British by adoption, is entitled to two parties, the English and the American.

She deserves it.

One year we drew Happy Mother's Day on the lawn of our house's garden with rose petals.

When she got up in the morning, she saw our message of love from her window.

What did your mothers teach you?

JH

 – Mine taught me kindness, honesty, hard work and the importance of family.

And today, I can say that I am very proud of mine and of my children.

GMJ

– My relationship with my mother has always been very good.

I am in the middle of a family of four, and I remember having, as a teenager, difficult times.

Thank you, mom, for putting up with me!

Today, everything is back to normal.

I have always entrusted everything to him.

I have absolute confidence in my mother.

Our relationship hasn't changed much over time, although today I think she sees me as an adult.

Well, most of the time.

Your best memories?

GMJ

 – Christmas time.

My mother was very keen on maintaining the traditions when we were children.

We decorated the tree, baked gingerbread houses and learned Christmas carols.

It was compulsory.

JH

 – My best memories are holidays spent at the beach, in the south of France, or on Mustique Island, in the Caribbean.

Was becoming a mother important to you, Jerry?

JH

 – When I had my first child, my eldest daughter Elizabeth, I realized how much my mother had given me, and then I understood and loved her more.

Motherhood remains the most wonderful experience of my life.

Very quickly, I wanted to have other children.

With Mick, we had four, Elizabeth, James, Georgia May and Gabriel.

They are all accomplished.

This is my greatest achievement.

Children give meaning to my life.

My mother never followed in anyone's footsteps.

Neither in his life choices nor in his style.

I love his freedom

Georgia May Jagger

Georgia followed your path.

Does it make you happy?

JH

 – If it makes her happy, yes.

I find my daughter so fun and loving.

We have in common to like to be dressed up when we go out at night.

We get ready together, we swap clothes, we put on make-up, we have fun.

Fashion is a game, glamor is in your head.

GMJ

 – My mother never followed in anyone's footsteps.

Neither in his life choices nor in his style.

I love his freedom.

She follows her instinct without worrying about the opinion of others.

The best advice your mother gave you?

GMJ

 – Don't judge people, because you never know what battle they are fighting in private.

Listening to everyone, especially those who don't have the same opinion as yours.

And never forget that life is made up of ups and downs, that we have the power to change trajectories, and that we must always see the glass half full.

My parents always trusted me, and I did everything to deserve it.

They never pressured me.

I set my own challenges.

I inherited my positive side from my mother and my work ethic from my father.
