(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 06 - A demonstration by the wives of the Ukrainian military under siege in the Azovstal steel plant in Mariupol who asked for negotiations with the Russians to obtain the evacuation of their husbands, was dispersed by the police in Kiev, according to the Guardian.
The agents also handed out postcards for military conscription to the men who were present at the rally.
About fifty people were gathered, despite the authorities' prohibition, in Independence Square, to demand that the evacuation negotiations not only concern civilians, but also men-at-arms, including members of the Azov Regiment.
