(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 06 - The Council for the regulation of the Senate will meet on Tuesday 10 May at 4.30 pm to discuss the case of Vito Petrocelli, president of the Senate Foreign Commission.
The parliamentarian, elected with the M5s but on the run with the group, is at the center of the controversy for his pro-Russian positions.
Petrocelli does not intend to resign from the presidency of the commission.
To unblock the situation and seek a solution that would lead to his expulsion, twenty out of 22 members of the commission (excluding Petrocelli and Emanuele Dessì, senator of Cal who do not intend to leave office) have submitted their resignations.
