(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 06 - "The government, supported by the center-left, forced the Finance Commission to vote on the basic text of the proxy law. In February that text was approved (23 to 22). The center-right government continued the battle to protect of the house and against taxes and the government was forced to back down and change the text that had already been voted on. A result strongly desired in particular by Lega leader Matteo Salvini ".

This is how LaLega reconstructs the evolution of the land registry reform in the fiscal delegation, in a card entitled "Operation truth: thus the League and the center-right of the government have saved the house from the taxation of the left".

According to the League, "the agreement proposed by the center-right of the government and accepted by the executive provides for the elimination of any reference to the market value within the cadastre".

"The great result - it is explained - is to have limited the updating of the annuities to the current legislation, without inserting new indices. So the update will take place while the legislation is unchanged".

Moreover, it is added, "the update that can be done with this delegation law is the same that the Municipalities can already do today: nothing changes. The virtuous municipalities have already done it or are doing it exactly like this".
