Despite the exile of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, and the tensions that we know since they rock the royal family, Kate Middleton and Prince William nevertheless wished a happy birthday to their nephew, Archie Mountbatten Windsor, who lives in the USA.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge chose a formal portrait, showing the royal family at his christening in 2019, in the Green Drawing Room at Windsor Castle.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are in the center of the photo, with their son in their arms.

They are surrounded by Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles, Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, Lady Diana's sisters, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Lady Jane Fellowes, as well as Kate and William.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are not the only ones to have had a little thought for the brother of Lilibet, 11 months.

Queen Elizabeth II also shared a photo of her first meeting with her great-grandson.

We see Meghan, holding her boy in her arms, while the sovereign, alongside her husband, the late Prince Philip, is all smiles when she discovers her face.

The photo is accompanied by the following text: "Wishing Archie Mountbatten-Windsor a very happy birthday!"

A birthday that comes four days after that of his cousin, Princess Charlotte, who turned 7 on May 2.
