"Israel Hayom" has learned that the Shanti House sent an alert to the "Ovda" system before the article was broadcast, among other things it read: The investigation defames and harms the good name of the Shanti House. "
It was further alleged that the publication of the things caused real and heavy damage and would constitute defamation against the letter issued by the law firm Gideon Fischer.
The letter states that the same person was returned to work at the Shanti House - but was transferred to another position in the association, essentially operational, from the one he was previously employed at, all with full knowledge of the probation service and the court hearing the case.
The letter states that "it was explicitly stated that the rehabilitative procedure in which the defendant was involved was successful and that it poses a low risk" alongside this it was stated that he has not been employed at the Shanti House for about a year.
In the letter, the Shanti House raised allegations about the preparation of the investigation, claiming that the editor of the system had opened "a WhatsApp group in which she actually, using emotional manipulations, trainees and former trainees of the association, shared with her every detail of information that might harm the association's good name."
According to them, the messages that were sent to the group also constitute defamation in part, after it was stated in them that "difficult acts" were committed in the Shanti house, without specifying anything.
A letter sent from the Shanti House further claims that the "Fact" system told them that they would forward the questions for comment only on the day the investigation was broadcast, claiming: "There can be no doubt that presenting the questions arising from the article to our network With the provisions of Article 9B of the Rules of Journalistic Ethics, as it does not allow our client a reasonable time to formulate its response to the publication of the investigation, which undoubtedly contains information that may harm the dignity and good name of our client as an association and Ms. Shanti-Klein as an individual and director The association ".
The letter was signed as follows: "As long as our network is not given a reasonable time to respond to the findings of the investigation, we will not hesitate to apply to the court for an urgent restraining order, in order to prevent the article from being broadcast. That is, we will not hesitate to take all the legal steps available to it in order to protect its good name. "
