Here is good news: Zvika Pick is back on stage.
After a long absence from the stages due to the stroke he received in 2018, the veteran singer and creator is launching a tour of Zappa clubs around the country.
The first show will take place on June 3 at the Zappa Tel Aviv Club, followed by performances at Zappa Haifa (June 10), Zappa Beer Sheva (June 24), Zappa Jerusalem (June 30), Zappa Kerem Barkan (July 7), Zappa Herzliya (July 15) ) And at the Alma Hotel in Zichron Yaacov (July 22).
Pick, 72, is one of the most prolific composers in the history of Israeli music.
Among the many hits he composed: "Ma'ale Ma'ale", "Mary Lou", "Love at the End of Summer", "Dreams Come True", "Living with Him", "Flowering Song", "I Love You Leah", "Dead Father and Dead Elul", "Hot blood", "I can not do without you" and many more.
He also composed the Eurovision-winning song "Diva", judged for five seasons in "A Star Is Born", and his songs served as the basis for the musical "Mary Lou".
In 2018, Pick suffered a stroke during a flight from London to Israel.
The plane made an emergency landing in Vienna and was hospitalized at a local hospital.
After about a week, he was hospitalized in Israel and underwent a lengthy rehabilitation process, during which he returned to speaking and functioning.
In May 2019, after a long time that was not in the public eye, he bravely revealed in the program of Haim Challenge 12 Rainbow the process of rehabilitation he went through and told about the life that has changed.
He has since embraced a new grandson, the son of Daniela Pick, his daughter, and director Quentin Tarantino.
