6.3 earthquake off the coast of Papua-New Guinea

(ANSA) - SYDNEY, 10 MAY - A magnitude 6.3 earthquake was recorded off the coast of Papua-New Guinea.

This was reported by the Usgs, the US institute for monitoring earthquakes.

    The quake was identified in the Bismarck Sea about 200 kilometers off the coast.

At the moment there are no reports of damage or victims of the earthquake, which occurred at an estimated depth of 10 kilometers.
