(ANSA) - LONDON, MAY 10 - Prince Charles, heir to the British throne, arrived in Westminster with his wife Camilla to read the Queen's Speech, the government program presented to Chambers gathered on the occasion of the inauguration of the new parliamentary session (Opening State of Parliament ).
It is the first time that he has been delegated to replace the 96-year-old Queen Elizabeth, never absent at this institutional appointment since 1963, but yesterday forced to declare yet another forfeit due to alleged "mobility" problems.
At the debut ceremony, Prince William, present at his father's side, invests second in the line of succession.
