Extreme weather conditions are increasing in Europe.
Now the first heat wave of the year is rolling towards the continent.
Germany also expect up to 30 degrees.
Wiesbaden – Weather extremes are becoming more and more frequent due to climate change.
In addition to flooding, as in the Ahr valley, extreme heat is also becoming more and more frequent.
Most recently, Pakistan and India have been hit by high temperatures.
The thermometer sometimes almost reached the 50 degree mark.
In India it is so hot in some regions that "it is really dangerous to be outdoors for a long time," writes the dpa.
Europe is also about to be hit by a real heat wave - and the hot weather will also be felt in Germany.
Heat wave rolls across Europe: before Germany it hits Spain
First, the heat wave will roll over Spain on its way out of the desert.
Temperatures of up to 39 degrees are expected here from Friday (May 6), as reported by focus.de.
These countries will be hit by the heat roller:
Spain
Italy
Romania
Switzerland
Austria
Baltic States
Germany

Even if it tends to be warmer in Spain, the expected values in Germany also exceed the normal range.
After Spain, the heat wave will continue to roll into the Baltic States and the hot weather will also be noticeable in Romania, as Focus reports.

Weather in Europe: heat wave also hits Germany
The heat wave also hits Germany on its way through Europe and ensures summery weather.
Adrian Leyser from the weather forecast center of the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach then considers temperatures around 30 degrees possible.
While the temperatures will initially rise slightly from Friday (May 6), it will be really summery in the coming week.
The weather in Germany is like this:
Friday (May 6th):
15 to 22 degrees, friendly mix of sun and clouds, mostly dry
Saturday (May 7th):
16 to 22 degrees, often nice and dry
Sunday (May 8th):
15 to 23 degrees, mostly friendly and dry, a beautiful Mother's Day, brief thunderstorms only possible in the southwest in the afternoon
Monday (May 9):
17 to 23 degrees, often friendly and dry
Tuesday (May 10th):
19 to 25 degrees, summery warm and sunny
Wednesday (May 11):
20 to 27 degrees, often sunny and very warm
Thursday (May 12):
24 to 30 degrees, almost midsummer weather

From Tuesday (May 10th) 25 degrees and more will also be reached in Germany.
"It remains to be seen whether it will even be enough for the first hot day with temperatures of 30 degrees," said Leyser from the DWD.
However, the meteorologist expects a kind of "sandwich weather": While it is really summery in the middle of Germany, a cold front is still hanging over the north and south.
This means that in the rain in the Alps and in the north, barely 15 degrees are reached.
Germany: It is not yet clear how long the warm weather will last
How long the warm weather in Germany will last cannot be predicted at the moment, says qualified meteorologist Dominik Jung from the Q.met weather service to wetter.net.
The only certainty so far is that it will be warmer next week, but how warm and how long the heat will last cannot be said at the moment.

How the temperatures in Germany look exactly is related to the positioning of a high over Central Europe.
This sucks warm air from the southwest towards Germany.
Weather in Germany: Drought is slowly becoming a problem
One thing is already clear, however, in large parts of the country it will remain dry, as Dominik Jung notes.
The persistent drought is slowly becoming a problem, especially in northern Germany it has not rained in some regions for more than three weeks.
The 25 to 30 degrees forecast for the coming week are also far too warm for this time.
According to Jung, these would be top values even for mid/end June.
It remains to be seen whether the coming weeks will herald the summer of 2022.
