Trick: How to Get Cheap New Lobotin Shoes (TIKTOK / @ WHOISJILLEA)
We would all be happy to add a pair of expensive lobotine shoes to the shoe closet (or in our case - a drawer), but the budget simply does not allow it.
The Tiktok anchor has proven that you can buy defective lobotine shoes for only $ 99 (when their original price is $ 1,500) and turn them into new-looking ones - so much so that you will not be able to distinguish them from new shoes from the store.
Jilla, a resident of Canada, has a popular ticketing page called Who Is Jillea.
She is a fashion enthusiast and has managed to turn her obsession into a viral success.
In her viral video, Gila showed viewers how to get new (looking) low-budget lobotine shoes.
Her first tip is to look for damaged shoes in stores - on which you can get a discount, while showing off a pair of orange shoes she purchased at a ridiculous price.
She said: "I found these at a delivery store and they had sun damage so they cost $ 99 after discount."
Compared to others who would give up the pleasure, Gila decided to purchase and restore them.
As you can see in the video - she succeeded.

She started by covering the soles with duct tape so that they would not be damaged in the painting process.
She then used a lint roller to remove any remnants of suede or dust that stuck to the shoe.
From there she took a small paint brush and used black cloth paint to paint the shoe carefully.
Using a clean towel she rubbed the shoes after each coat of paint, an operation that was repeated three times to achieve an opaque black finish.
Finally, Gila sprayed weather-resistant spray on the shoes to make sure the suede would last longer and not be damaged.
This is how they looked when purchased:

As you can see, the shoes look brand new compared to their previous condition.
The restoration video went viral, with over 150,000 views and 30,000 likes.
She said in the video: "As you can see, you can not see that there were once oranges. They look brand new."
In total, the makeover cost Jilla only $ 120.
Worth it, right?
