Avatar : The Way of the Water

.

Scheduled in French theaters on December 14, the feature film plans to dive back into this universe both terrestrial and underwater, between idyll and clan war around the same blue creatures, called the Na'vis.

This short trailer, lasting one minute and thirty-seven seconds, once again exposes Pandora, the planet on which the mythical creatures of the film directed by James Cameron live.

While it broadcasts almost no element of the script, only one sentence is spoken by the main character, Jake Sully:

“One thing is certain.

Wherever we go, this family will be our fortress.”

He pronounces this sentence in the middle of splendid aquatic images, which testify to Cameron's love for the marine universe and had at the time made the success of the franchise.

And the will of the director goes in this direction.

The plot takes place more than a decade after the first flights on the back of dragons.

She once again follows Jake Sully, played by actor Sam Worthington, as well as his wife Neytiri, a role played by Zoe Saldana.

Unlike the original film, several characters make their debut on Pandora, who are none other than the couple's children.

The poster of the film was unveiled at the same time as the trailer for the second opus.

Some actors who contributed to the worldwide success of the first film, released in 2009, will be back in this second opus.

It will therefore be possible to see on the screen, alongside Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana, the actors Stephen Lang, in the role of Colonel Miles Quaritch, but also Sigourney Weaver in that of Grace Augustine.

Other actors will join them for the first time, like Kate Winslet, Michelle Yeoh and Vin Diesel, whose roles are not yet specified.
