"The whole civilized world must see the conditions in which the wounded defenders of Mariupol find themselves and act!".

The Azov regiment, the Ukrainian military unit also with police duties, shows the world for the first time the photographs portraying the drama of the war, with snapshots of the soldiers who were wounded in the dungeons of the Azovstal steel plant in the martyr city of Mariupol.

Ukrainska Pravda reports it.

Soldiers who need immediate qualified medical attention and who live in completely unsanitary conditions, with open wounds bandaged with what remains of non-sterile bandages, but also without the necessary drugs and even without food.

The nationalist paramilitary group then launches an invitation to

UN and the Red Cross to show humanity towards them and to reaffirm the basic principles on which they were created by helping the wounded.

The photos published in the Ukrainska Pravda show some soldiers with amputated upper or lower limbs, with deformed jaws and faces, whose body has been battered by deep wounds caused by bullets or shrapnel.

Among the images also that of a man who makes the gesture of victory.
