From Microsoft new mice and keyboards for accessibility

(ANSA) - MILAN, MAY 11 - Microsoft, on the occasion of the Ability Summit scheduled to date, has announced several innovations in the field of inclusion and accessibility.

We participate with a new Inclusive Tech Lab, a space designed to develop new products, making use of the contribution of people with disabilities directly in the design phase.

   The new facility will include an area where dedicated products will be displayed, a space where Microsoft and communities of people with disabilities will be able to devise and evaluate together the design of a product and its direction.

The American giant also presented new accessories for accessibility.

Including Adaptive Mouse, Adaptive Tail and Thumb Support, Adaptive Hub and Adaptive Button, designed with people with disabilities to help those who have difficulty using a traditional mouse and keyboard.

The peripherals allow those who use them to configure and customize their mouse and keyboard commands, adapting them to their needs and requirements.

Moving on to the software, a new set of tools for accessibility and learning has been integrated into the Microsoft Edge navigation browser,

   Windows 11 includes new accessibility features such as Focus, Voice Access (voice commands), LiveCaptions (real-time subtitles) and Narrator natural voices (natural sounding voices).
