Police in Hanau on duty: suspected homicide

According to their own statements, the police found a dead girl in a high-rise building in downtown Hanau in the morning.
A seriously injured boy was lying on the street in front of the house.
He was taken to the hospital.
A little later, the public prosecutor's office in Hanau, Hesse, said the boy had died.
The investigators assume a homicide, as a spokeswoman for the Hanau public prosecutor's office told the German Press Agency.
A suspect is being sought.
According to the spokeswoman, there are indications of a family background to the crime.
Dead girl on the ninth floor
According to the police, passers-by discovered the boy in the morning and alerted the police at around 7:20 a.m.
The officers then found the dead girl on the balcony of an apartment on the ninth floor of the house.
According to previous information, it should be the seven-year-old girl and the eleven-year-old boy who lived in the apartment, said the spokeswoman for the public prosecutor's office.
