Film off for summer in the city!

On May 12, 2022, the Munich cinema at the Olympiasee will start the season.

After two corona pandemic years, all seats can finally be filled again.

The opening film is Fantastic Beasts 3: Secrets of Dumbledore.

This is going to be magical!

There are said to be people who can hardly wait for the other outdoor pools in Munich to open the summer season after the Schyrenbad.

From May 12, 2022, there will be an alternative for all wimps in the Munich Olympiapark that is at least as wonderful to dive into as the cold water: the cinema in the Olympiapark 2022 will start its program.

Plus films and a family program that really gets you in the mood for summer.

The cinema at the Olympiasee can take place again with full seats

After two years of Corona, the cinema at the Olympiasee can again take place with full seats, the mask requirement is lifted.

And as in so many areas, the pandemic has brought at least one advantage here: the tables next to the deck chairs that were set up at the time to ensure a safe distance between visitors will remain.

Lovers can book a "love seat" on which they can cuddle without armrests;

by the way, gladly with a snuggle blanket – unlike last year, they can lend it to visitors again this year.

And the picnic cinema is back, too, where you can make yourself comfortable on the sunbathing lawn or in the beer garden.

You can bring the right food with you - that's the way it should be in a Bavarian beer garden.

Or you can book one of the so-called adventure packages online in advance.

"From Notte Italiana to C'est la Vie with French macarons" is what's on offer here.

And it doesn't have much to do with the snacks that usually stick to the cinema floor.

Popcorn and the now inevitable nachos with cheese sauce (whoever came up with that cheese) are available for purchase at the food stalls without pre-ordering.

The supplier Servus Habibi, who only sells vegan dishes, is new in the food stalls.

It will be fantastic with the opening film of Kino am Olympiasee 2022: Then "Fantastic Beasts 3: Dumbledore's Secrets" with Jude Law will be shown.

But back to the essentials - man does not live by bread alone.

The fantasy film "Fantastic Beasts 3: Dumbledore's Secrets", which was released in German cinemas on April 7th, provides an enchanting cultural start tonight.

In the days that followed, blockbusters like “James Bond – No Time to Die” (May 21), “Spider-Man: No Way Home” (May 20 and 28) or “King Richard” (May 30) followed.

Karoline Herfurth's clever cinematic request for more self-love - "Wonderful" - can also be seen (May 18/June 1).

And children can enjoy "Sing 2 - The Show of Your Life" on June 5th - while their parents secretly hope that the music of the Rolling Stones, which will play on June 5th, 2022 in Munich's Olympic Stadium, will ring over.

After all, what better supporting film could there be than the real sunset?
