(ANSA) - TEL AVIV, MAY 12 - The Palestinian National Authority (NPC) has rejected Israel's request for a joint investigation into the killing of Al-Jazeera reporter ShireenAbu Akleh.
Civil Affairs Minister Hussein al-Sheikh said this on twitter, denying information to the contrary.
The minister added that the NPC will carry out its investigation "independently" and the results will be resilient "in full transparency".
Furthermore, according to the media, the PNA will not deliver the bullet extracted from the body of the reportern during the autopsy carried out yesterday at the 'Al Najah' Institute of Forensic Medicine in Nablus.
