Moex lost 3.7% to 2,297 points.
The ruble ended upwards: for the exchange rate with the dollar in the evening, 65.1 rubles are needed, compared to 66.6 the day before, and for the one with the euro 67.5 rubles, compared to 70.2 the previous day.
Among the stocks, there was a sharp decline for banks, such as Sberbank (-3.4%) and Vtb Bank (-3.8%).
In the energy sector, badly Gazprom (-4.7%), Novatek (-3.4%) and Rosneft (-4.2%).
In the extraction-offering Polymetal (-5.2%), in the steel industry Severstal (-2.8%), badly in the Aeroflot aircraft sector (-2%).
