With the aim of linking university students and recent graduates to the labor market and introducing them to the scientific steps that help them to actually start programming work, the Syrian Scientific Society for Informatics - the Administrative Committee in Damascus launches the “Scientific Programming Week” in partnership with 5 software companies.
The association explained in a statement that SANA received a copy of it that the event, which begins on Sunday, May 15, and extends for five days, through free workshops specialized in programming, targets 70 male and female students of the College of Informatics and Communications Engineering, students of information technology institutes and recent graduates from these colleges and institutes.
The head of the administrative committee in Damascus in the Syrian Scientific Informatics Society, Dr. Iyas Zakkar, explained that this awareness event was launched with the aim of finding informatics students and graduates a way to enter the labor market that is looking for competencies in the field of programming, pointing out that it is not the first event held by the association in the field of supporting university students and graduates. .
In turn, the Director of the Training and Rehabilitation Center in the Assembly - Administrative Committee Mahmoud Qudsi indicated that the “Scientific Programming Week” consists of 5 sessions spread over the five days at 3 hours per session, and that the sessions’ topics include (the programmer’s roadmap, web developer skills and tools, mobile developer skills and tools, and skills and systems analyst tools and international standards and standards for software products).
It is noteworthy that the Syrian Scientific Society for Informatics is a non-profit association that aims to spread the information culture in the Syrian society and to help encourage and organize the information and communication technology market in Syria.
