Disappointment:
Despite the excellent performance, Israel's representative for the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest did not qualify for the finals of the singing competition that took place last night (Thursday).
This is the first time since 2014 that Israel has not reached the semifinals.
Ben-David and the four dancers gave a tight and energetic performance, but it was not enough for Europe - and he finished his way in the second semi-final, which took place, like the entire competition, in Turin, Italy.
After announcing the 10 finalists, of which Israel was not one, Ben David said: "My beloved, I had the privilege of representing our country with pride. We did our best, everything is written in heaven. I hope I made you proud. I love you. I love you. I Happy".
The 10 countries that did qualify for the final were Sweden, Serbia, Australia, Estonia, Finland, Poland, the Czech Republic, Belgium, Romania and Azerbaijan.
The Eurovision final will take place this coming Saturday at 22:00 here 11.
