(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 13 - "We must be very understanding when thinking about Finland. Their request must be understood and evaluated carefully: I think it is understandable that you want to feel reassured by joining NATO".
The president of the M5s, Giuseppe Conte, told the foreign press.
"It is clear - he added with regard to the risks of membership - that it may have implications but I do not feel I can offer a negative answer in the face of such a vital interest expressed by Finland".
