The rise in food prices in Germany does not appear to be abating for a long time.

An Edeka customer has now complained about the price of sunflower oil and has received approval online.

Munich – The persistently high food prices in discounters and supermarkets are causing outrage and a lack of understanding among customers.

But there doesn't seem to be an end in sight for a long time.

More and more food is becoming a rarity due to hamster purchases or delivery bottlenecks and the price of the long-running sunflower oil continues to rise.

This is also the case with Edeka, as a customer recently found out.

Edeka customer on Facebook: "Edeka's prices are generally outrageous at the moment"

The stunned customer posted the sight of the oil shelf on Facebook.

"I'm at a loss for words," she captioned the photo.

As can be seen in the picture, the price of sunflower oil in the Edeka branch she visited was almost six euros.

That's even more expensive than the price that recently outraged Edeka customers in Stuttgart.

One user could understand the excitement well.

“Edeka's prices are generally outrageous at the moment.

Soon you'll have to take out a loan for a week's shopping," she complained in the comments below the post.

The contributor agreed with her: "I only buy selected things from Edeka and according to the offer.

Otherwise the store is too expensive for me, ”she let the user know.

The shortage of sunflower oil and co. could not be less important to an Edeka customer.

Instead, he hoarded surprise eggs for fear of losing his stash.
