(ANSA) - CAGLIARI, MAY 13 - The State Police of Cagliari denounced 140 people, all foreigners, for having unduly received citizenship income for a total amount collected without right of over 4 million euros.
The suspects are accused of having obtained the subsidy since 2019 using false statements.
Investigators are examining the positions of other 478 foreigners, recipients of citizenship income since 2019, seeking the complaint and revocation of the benefit.
