(ANSA) - TOKYO, MAY 13 - The Tokyo Stock Exchange starts the last session of the week with a plus sign after the recent declines, despite the mixed closure of the US stock indices.
Investors' caution prevails over the rise in inflation and the ability of the US Federal Reserves to intervene.
The benchmark Nikkei index posted a gain of 0.67% to 25,922.27, and a gain of 173 points.
On the foreign exchange market, the yen reverses the depreciation process on the dollar, at 128.40, and at 133.30 on the single currency.
