Tax: the immediate receipt lottery is a standard already agreed

 "This is an already written, agreed rule, on which there is no political problem, which will be included in the first useful legislative container which can be simplification: it is an essential measure".

This was stated by the undersecretary of the Mef, Federico Freni, on the sidelines of the conference of the League "The Italy we want", answering what happened to the proposal regarding the instant verification of the receipt lottery. 

Cgia, cashback and the receipt lottery were a flop

The cashback and the lottery of the receipts had to give a lethal blow to the evasion or, at least, drastically reduce the one from omitted invoicing which, in relation to the total one, has an important impact.

Both measures, however, were a flop.

Or rather, they did not produce the desired results.

The lottery of receipts,

which entered into force on February 1st of last year, it does not seem to have aroused great interest among taxpayers / consumers.

According to the data of the Customs and Monopolies Agency, if in March 2021 the monthly receipts associated with the lottery had touched the maximum peak of 25 thousand units, subsequently there was a constant contraction;

last fall, the monthly number dropped to just over 5,000.
