The activation of an operations room dedicated to the Eurovision event in which technicians and police specialists from the Cnaipic (National Anti-Crime Computer Protection Center for Critical Infrastructures) of the Postal Police worked side by side 24 hours a day, allowed the neutralization of computer attacks by the killnet collective and its offshoot " Legion ".
Various computer attacks of a Ddos nature directed towards the network infrastructures during voting operations and singing performances have been mitigated in collaboration with the ICT Raie Eurovision TV management.
From the analysis of the evidence, numerous 'PC-zombies' used for the cyber attack were identified by the Cnaipic of the Postal Police.
Further analyzes and insights have outlined the geographic mapping of attacks from abroad.
The info-preventive activity conducted by the staff of the Postal Police's Cnaipic on the basis of the analysis of the information obtained from the telegram channels of the Russian-lover group, also made it possible to derive important safety information, already shared with Rai for the prevention of further events critics.
