Thus the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky, in a post on his Facebook page, hailed the victory of his country at Eurovision.
"Next year Ukraine will host the contest for the third time in history. We will do everything possible to make Mariupol the host city," adds Zelensky.
The EU leaders greet on Twitter the victory of the KalushOrchestra and Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest in Turin.
