Founder Ines Bäring developed a blue light protection that is supposed to protect against skin aging.

With "The Lion's Den" she hopes for an investment in her product.

Berlin – Every day we look at the screens of our smartphones or laptops and expose ourselves to the blue light from the screens.

It should not only damage the eyes and disturb the sleep-wake cycle, but also damage the skin.

Even if it is not yet scientifically clarified, dermatologists know that the blue light penetrates deep into the skin layers and can damage the skin cells.

The consequences of this can be pigment spots, sallow skin and skin aging.

Ines Bäring (44) from Berlin would like to remedy the situation.

Since a tragic incident in her previous job, the former police officer has been running a practice for aesthetic medicine and developed a blue light protection.

She wants to convince the investors of the popular VOX show "Die Höhle der Löwen" on Monday (May 16) of her "Mijasi" product.

She used to rush through the streets with blue lights flashing.

"Today I have a product that filters the blue light," explains the Berliner to VOX.

Because in her former dream job as a police officer, she had a terrible experience that finally forced her to embark on a new career path.

After her training, Ines first worked in the middle service with the police and with a hundred and later switched to the higher service.

She became a commissioner and most recently worked for the LKA.

But then something happened that changed her life in one fell swoop: "I was shot." A projectile hit her in the hand and arm and she had shrapnel injuries in her face.

After the accident at work, her career ended and the then early 30-year-old retired early.

Eventually she made the switch and has been involved in dermatology and anti-aging treatments for over ten years.

So the blue light continues to accompany you.

“Who would have thought that blue light issues would play a major role again in my second career.

Not the siren this time, but the blue light of digital screens," said the former police officer.

Because if we are exposed to the intense bluish glow of our PCs, laptops, tablets or smartphones for hours, it can weaken the cells, stress the skin and lead to premature skin aging and wrinkling, as the trained naturopath knows.

It is also 100 percent vegan and free from silicones, parabens and artificial colors.

She presents her blue light protection in the "Die Höhle der Löwen" episode on Monday, May 16 from 8:15 p.m.

Will one of the lions bite?

In the last episode, the founders of "deep.one" managed to inspire the "Die Höhle der Löwen" investors: Deaf people can feel music with their product.

Unfortunately, the "Lion's Den" participant Oguzhan Albayrak did not succeed with his running e-bike "uready!".
