Have you stocked up on the recommended 10-day emergency supply?
We collect recipes that you can cook from them.
Today: spicy lentil bolognese.
The situation in the supermarkets is slowly easing and you can turn the emergency stock recommended by the Federal Office for Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance (BBK) and Federal Minister of the Interior Nancy Faeser (SPD) into a "living stock".
"Living stock" means that you regularly use up and replace the food that you store - provided, of course, that you can also buy the food later.
In the case of sunflower oil, this is still difficult, but stocks have recovered for other foods that were in short supply in the meantime.
So you need
simple and of course tasty recipes that you can cook from your emergency stash
and there are plenty of them.
As long as you can also buy fresh ingredients, the recipes are of course more varied, but it also tastes good “only” with emergency supplies.
For example, try this
spicy lentil bolognese
, which goes great with pasta and cooks in a flash.

Recipe: How to prepare the spicy lentil bolognese from your emergency supplies
Clean and dice the onion and carrot and sauté in oil until they begin to soften.
Add the tomato paste and roast it a little.
Then add the lentils, the water and the vegetable stock powder, bring everything to the boil and let it simmer until the lentils are cooked.
This takes about ten minutes.
Stir regularly during this time.
Now season the lentil Bolognese with salt, pepper and oregano and serve with pasta.
You can spice up this
simple lentil bolognese
with fresh ingredients such as celery and mushrooms, but if you really only want to use up your emergency supplies, it still tastes really spicy and delicious - and is ready in no time.
This makes lentil bolognese the ideal after-work
meal
if you have neither the time nor the inclination to shop or cook.
