The Tex-Max band will return for a single performance in Israel that will take place in the new event complex in Ariel Sharon Park • Tickets starting at NIS 245

The pioneer of the Tex-Max Calexico will return for one and only performance in Israel.

The performance will take place at "Kav Rakia", the new event complex in Ariel Sharon Park.

The show will take place as part of a tour to promote the duo El Mirador's new album, and this will be the band's fourth visit to the country, after three very successful visits.

The first time the band performed in Israel in 2009, Ehud Banai was a surprise guest.

The band returned for two more performances at Barbie in 2013, and performances at Barbie and the Gesher Theater in 2015.

The band's unique style is actually a combination of Folk Americana and Mexican music and its name is a client from the California town of the same name, although the band was founded in Arizona.

Its two founders, Joey Burns and John Convertino, who are members of it to this day, combined the Texan desert atmosphere with Latin influences, mariachi trumpets, blues and country to American-Mexican rock, so-called Tex-Max (or Tahano music).

They have been leading the special style from the late nineties to the present day successfully and the vast majority of her 12 albums (including the new one) have received very positive reviews from critics.

Calexico's performance in Israel will take place on July 30.

Tickets start at NIS 245 at Ticketmaster.
