(ANSA) - TRIESTE, MAY 16 - Thirty people have been denounced by the Police for the demonstrations against the obligation to use the Greenpass in the workplace, held last October in front of gate IV of the Port of Trieste.
They will have to respond to various titles of crimes of resistance and insult to public officials, roadblocks, dangerous throwing of things at the address of the police forces and crimes of shouting and seditious demonstrations and seditious gatherings, as well as unauthorized demonstrations.
On 18 October the police forces had cleared the area in front of the airport access, after a garrison of 4 consecutive days during which, in one circumstance, approximately 8 million presences had been reached, according to the Trieste Police Headquarters.
The garrison was promoted by the Trieste Port Workers' union, also with the setting up of gazebos and refreshment areas, causing a significant decrease in the commercial traffic of the Port.
The continuation of this situation had involved the intervention of the police forces to restore the transit area.
After refusing to leave the site, as requested several times by the police, since some fringes of demonstrators - as the Police reconstructs - began to oppose themselves in a violent manner against the framed departments, with the help of fire hydrants the evacuation was carried out.
Subsequently clashes with police forces took place, while part of the demonstrators had started a corteo through the city streets, blocking traffic.
The other participants, who remained near Varco IV, had continued in violent actions until late in the evening, clashing several times with the police forces.
During the investigations, several videos were viewed and some more troublemakers were identified, including the leaders of the denier movements, who, the Questura concludes, instigated those present to commit crimes.
