The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has set the dates for submitting exams for the second semester courses for students of the preparatory year for medical colleges for the 2021-2022 academic year between June 25 and July 30.
The ministry indicated in a circular, a copy of which was received by SANA today, that the old students who hold the second semester courses take the exams with the new students, but in separate halls from them.
The preparatory year for the faculties of human medicine, dentistry and pharmacy was adopted since the 2015-2016 academic year as a second criterion for university admission in addition to the high school certificate average, so that it became a central, unified and automated exam for each semester, as approved by the Higher Education Council, and it is considered one of the student’s academic years.
