Xbox hype game "Starfield": Release has been postponed

Starfield is the next exciting game from the developers of Skyrim and Fallout.

Xbox fans are already very excited about "Starfield", but the release is delayed.

As part of the past E3, numerous exciting games were presented in more detail.

One of the highlights was "Starfield"*, of which nothing more than the title was known until then.

Developer studio Bethesda had presented a new teaser trailer and the anticipation of Xbox players was aroused.

A specific release date was even mentioned, but the developers will not be able to meet it and "Starfield" will not be released in 2022.

"Starfield" will not be released until 2023 for Xbox

At the end of the E3 trailer, three numbers could be seen on the starship's control panel: 11-11-22.

That was the originally planned release date for “Starfield” – that is

But Xbox fans should be happy about the "Starfield" shift.

Starfield will be an Xbox exclusive

"Starfield" will be released for Xbox Series X/S and PC.

What's particularly exciting is that the game will be available in Xbox Game Pass from day one.

Microsoft has made it clear that Starfield will be an Xbox exclusive.

PlayStation and Nintendo users therefore lose out.

"Starfield": "Skyrim" in space?

Both the developers and the fans hope that

will be the next Bethesda highlight.

But what kind of game is it actually?

Based on the teaser trailer, only a few guesses can be made:

"Starfield" is supposed to be an open-world adventure in space.

This, the teaser trailer and the description by Game Director Todd Howard bring back memories of "No Man's Sky" or

.

Howard explained that the focus is on a group of explorers called the "Constellation" - said to be "the last group of space explorers.

There are no other details regarding the gameplay and the story.

Starfield was first announced in 2018 alongside The Elder Scrolls 6.

It's the first new franchise from Bethesda Game Studios in 25 years.
