Natan Zach
's critical essay
"Reflections on Alterman's Poetry" published in 1959 focused on
Natan Alterman
's book "Stars Out There", while making a comprehensive attack on his point of departure on the world, on language, style, weight, rhyme and more.
What Zach used in preparing the scathing article was a copy of Alterman's book on which he wrote handwritten notes.
Recently, the special copy was rolled out for auction, and was purchased by Uri and Mirit Eisen, who donated it to the National Library.

Alterman's "Conversation on the Road" with the comments of Natan Zach,
According to Uri Eisen, from the moment he heard that the book was up for auction, it was clear to him that he had to be in the National Library, in order to be accessible and available to both researchers and the general public.
Natan Zach's widow, Sarah Avital, told Israel Today today: "I congratulate the National Library on receiving Natan Alterman's book 'Stars Out There' with Natan Zach's comments The sages of Israel for their generations. "
Avital added that "in order to express my appreciation to the National Library for the cooperation between us, I am handing over to the library Alterman's book" Summer Celebration ", also from Natan Zach's library." Summer Celebration "includes many comments in Natan Zach's handwriting."
