"Wedding at First Sight": Did you know that Daniel is not handsome enough for Rinat? | Israel today

"I would go out with men who look really good," clarifies in advance in pure Hebrew the bride to the unconscious groom who was forced on her • Now is his time to work on toning the muscles of his occupying personality • Or he should also listen to good friends and highlight being a scion of the "elite family". Which in spoken Hebrew means "ground murder"

When the most significant drama in an episode on a TV show comes down to a confrontation between one of its characters and a Fiat 500 manual transmission, you know it's a pretty heavenly episode.

This is exactly the case of last night's episode of "Wedding at First Sight," which followed the newlyweds on their honeymoon.

Or in other words: May and Moshe do the Provence, Ben and Maayan do the Maldives and Rinat and Daniel do as if it were fun for them - until there is no point in pretending anymore.

And to think that only a few scenes before (you know - right after the bride ran away from the canopy to smoke a cigarette and plan an escape) - they launched glasses together.

"For a life of happiness," Daniel said.

"Check, what is it," Rinat replied, who agreed to give a chance to a husband who only moments ago tried to escape from him.

Perhaps it has to do with the fact that she discovered through her friends that she was a groom "from an elite family", a term that in spoken Hebrew means "ground murder".

Swim, eat and recover.

Rinat and Daniel decide to escape from reality, drink their wedding and enjoy the huge party organized for them - even if at least one of the parties is very clear that a pairing will no longer come out here.

A woman suspected of being a grandmother completely interprets the situation upside down and announces "click clicked", and that's all these two remember from this event saturated with alcohol and fake joy, before they find themselves in a taxi on the way to the hotel, realizing they have no direction for conversation.

"What silence here and what noise there," Daniel presents the obvious.

"Release my brother, I'm broken bombs," Rinat must be thinking.

Later in the episode these two arrive in Sicily, where Daniel in an act of very little self-awareness, places a hand on his new wife's shoulder and forces a touch on her as if the one-sided hug scene from the previous episode never was.

At least at first the two try to enjoy each other's company, wading in the pool and taking 74 versions of an authentic photo against a beautiful backdrop.

Such are our loving couple.

Their minds are light, their lips are poor.

But it is not too poor to make it clear that at present it is less a matter of "searching for the treasure to find the common connection" and more like "assigning insults that are not sufficiently well-informed."

"I would go out with men who look really good," Rinat makes it clear to Daniel that he is not exactly in her league, and from here to the end of the episode we get nothing more than a gloomy glimpse into an awkward situation where both sides do not want to be there for his various reasons.

Daniel realizes that there is really nothing to work with here, Rinat has already decided their marriage sentence and is not even trying to eat from the pasta dish she made with her own hands, as a kind of strange honeymoon activity that the production forced on her, along with the groom who does not want it.

Not a really wild guess: these two will man the pair's slot that will no longer survive individual episodes, named after Ben and Manor from the previous season.

In the Ben and Maayan sector, not much is really happening, since Maayan asked Ben if it was his taste and destroyed the marital idyll that has prevailed between them until now.

Spoiler, for those who have just joined us: she is not, but he is actually attracted to her and that is quite a bit.

Not that it matters to Maayan, that in the episode in which she was presented she described herself as not caring about her weight issue, and now turns out to be the only one in a situation who really attaches importance to it.

Either way, the two do nothing for an entire episode except play in the water and (not really) overcome insult.

The big success (at the moment) of the season is the matchmaking between May and Moshe, between them - how does someone's grandmother say and only she?

The click has really been clicked, and it is clear that for them this is the beginning of a life together and one can already start signing wills and closing down on inheritances to descendants.

After Moshe bothers the driver Hector with references from movies from almost two decades ago, it is clear that the two really enjoy together and they engage in boring activities such as golf, archery, dancing to the sounds of restful and dubious pop stars, and as mentioned - a challenging highway ride on a non-automatic vehicle.

The duo Moshe and Mai is a piece of attrition, the average viewer certainly thinks so, but not the veteran scouts and critics.

No, these have already seen a match or two in this format, and understand that in quite a few cases - what starts in high gear usually ends in an engine that stops in the middle of a freeway.
