During the month, Japan will begin to once again welcome tourists who have been fully vaccinated.
But before you book airline tickets, you should know that at this point, the land of the rising sun will receive tourists from only four countries: Singapore, Thailand, Australia and the United States.
This is part of the state's pilot program to allow small groups to visit it, ahead of wider relief, which will be announced as early as next month (June).
Travel Weekly Asia reports that the Japanese Ministry of Tourism issued a statement this morning (Tuesday) stating that small groups of tourists will be received from those four countries, in order to test the effectiveness of measures to prevent the spread of the corona plague.

A trip on pre-defined and pre-arranged routes
The pilot project will begin with organized trips, which will be conducted by Japanese tourist agencies.
Based on the results of the project, the Government of Japan will create guidelines for businesses regarding the reception of visitors entering the country.
For now, the trial is limited to small groups, and only to those who have been fully vaccinated and have health insurance.
They must be accompanied by local teams of tourism agencies, and visit pre-defined regular routes.
One way or another, this statement by the Government of Japan has been received with great sympathy among those engaged in the tourism industry in Japan.
One of them is Hong Hanji, the director of the EU Holidays agency who expressed great excitement and confidence during.
"Once Japan opens, the country will definitely create a lot of interest for Japan lovers. Many of our customers are fans of Japan, and they are already asking us for more information on the move," Hanji noted.
